Meet the contributors

Sarah Lee is a tattoo artist in South Africa and owns her own studio called Be Kind Tattooing. She has been in the industry since she was 17 years old and has always had a love for tattooing.
Kristen is a tattoo artist, yogi, and pilates instructor all the way from South Africa.
I’ve been in the industry since I was 18. I’m a big fan of heavy black work and ornamental styles, however I’ll take on any project I feel I can make my own. My style has changed a lot throughout the years, and I constantly strive to improve my skills and techniques.
Vítor is a tattoo artist based in Rio de Janeiro. He’s also a musician and plays with a samba band in his spare time.
Bryan is a designer by trade but an art lover at heart. He comes at tattooing from a research and science perspective, trying to study as much as possible about the art form.
Becky has had a lifelong interest in tattoos ever since she can remember. She’s now a freelance writer focusing on art, design and lifestyle content.
